'Cauvery Calling' campaign can end tussle between TN and Karnataka on water issues:" E R Eswaran, KMDK General Secretary

Coimbatore : At the closing ceremony of Jaggi Vasudev's 'Cauvery Calling' campaign held at CODISSIA, Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi's (KMDK) General Secretary, Eswaran stated that the 'Cauvery Calling' initiative could even end the water dispute between the two states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. "The project is being supported by both the State Governments. The TN Chief Minister assuring his support for this initiative is commendable," he added.

E R Eswaran opined that Jaggi Vasudev intended to restore not only River Cauvery but all the rivers in India and asked people everywhere to join hands with Sadhguru to solve water scarcity issues in the future. "If all the trees planted in Tamil Nadu had grown, then it would have outnumbered the people of the State," said Eswaran. He also requested the Government to purify water for farmers so that they can grow more crops. "By implementing this project, Sadhguru is helping the Government, and the Government and people of TN should understand and support this initaitve. Farmers should accept this project and KDMK will work towards engaging farmers and people for this project," he reiterated.
